Speakers: Lin Youwei Eric (Director) Eric Lin a freelance cinematographer for TV documentaries, corporate videos and TVCs. He is also active in Singapore’s independent film-making scene. In his free time, he explores and works on social, cultural, and wildlife issues for his documentaries. In 2007, he completed Remember Chek Jawa and won the Mark Haslam Award at the Planet in Focus International Environmental Film Festival in Toronto. Dr. Daniel Goh (Assistant Professor, Department of Sociology, NUS) Race and ethnic relations, multiculturalism, environment and society, service and social action learning, visual sociology and anthropology, anthropology of the state. He is especially keen on working with students who want to conduct research on social ecology, particularly those who want to work on the social determinants of the material ecological impact of urban processes measured by instruments such as 'ecological footprint' or 'carbon emissions per gross product dollar', and not discursive or social constructions of the environment.
